As well as being one of New Zealand's largest horticultural export companies, DMP also imports a variety of products including brass and copper in the form of sheet, strip and tube.

The applications for these products ranges from automobile radiator manufacture to air conditioning and water heating.

DMP supplies "Neoceram" heat resistant ceramic glass with high thermal shock and impact resistance. This glass can easily withstand operating temperatures up to 1,500°F. Applications include use in the doors of domestic wood burning space heaters.
